CULTURAL CONSULTATION
COMMUNICATION STRATEGY & DESIGN
I developed a student news media website for Curtin University, providing a platform for media students to publish their work.
The project included cultural consultation, yarning circles, and decolonisation practices with First Nations communities to ensure the platform respected and reflected their knowledge and perspectives.
I worked with Goreng‑Wirlomin Minang Noongar Elder Ezzard Flowers in storytelling sessions to guide the design direction and coordinated the website development, incorporating the logo and visual assets he created.
Wildflower Media acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which this work takes place, and respect is paid to Elders past, present, and emerging. First Nations peoples’ connection to land, sea, skies, and community is recognised, and the opportunity to walk together in respect and care is honoured.
